Here comes another year of fun rock climbing activities! Call to all climbers, keen beginners or those just curious to try climbing and have fun with us!
This year we are hosting 2 climbing sessions at the Hardrock city gym and one climbing session at the Hardrock Nunawading gym to have more variety in our climbing options. Both these gyms are easy to access by public transport. After our climbs, we will head to the pub for some friendly drinks and dinner.
This year, Les Rock will sponsor some of the entrance cost to make it more accessible to all. There will be a unique price of $15 pp at the door, or $17 if you book online to secure your place. This will include harness and shoe hire. (Normal Hardrock entrance price is $30). Places will be limited to 20 per session. Finally, QSAM is also organising a sport day event during Midsumma, where Les Rock will take part of it by organising a Bouldering session at the Bunley tunnel bouldering walls. See details below for our schedule, please contact us for some info at les.rock@yahoo.com.au

Monday 23 Jan (Nunawading Hardrock gym): 6pm – 8.00pm (TBC asian restaurant in box hill)
Sunday 22 Jan (Bouldering Burnley tunnel part of QSAM sport day): 12.30-1.30pm BBQ (Gold coin donation) at the South Yarra sports centre, 2-4pm – Bouldering at Burnley tunnel
Monday 30 Jan (City Hardrock gym): 6pm – 8.30pm ($5 pizza at Miss libertine afterwards)
